Recent Projects:
(A) Donated a red oak tree to the new Sunnyvale Fire Station;
(B) Donated a statue at entrance to Sunnyvale’s Doris Padgett Library in remembrance of our long time member Doris Padgett;
(C) Each year we donate the materials and provide planting and maintenance at community gardens at the entrance to our town, the fire station, library and school administration building;
(D) We maintain the raised flower beds outdoors at Christian Care Communities for residents’ enjoyment;
(E) We give scholarships to deserving Sunnyvale High School seniors; and
(F) Each meeting, we collect monies for Sharing Life, which is a community food and clothing bank.

History:
The Club organized on April 27, 1960 and became Federated in February, 1961. We were sponsored by the Ada Bruton Garden Club. We are members of the National Garden Clubs, Texas Garden Clubs, District X and the Dallas Council of Garden Clubs. Our motto is Love, Care, Share. Our flower is the Daffodil. Our colors are Yellow and Green. Our vegetable is the Carrot.
